1 lb. ground italian sausage
1/2 to 1 small onion, chopped
garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, other spices
4 servings of pasta
couple handfuls of mozzarella cheese
1. Preheat oven (I usually do about 350 or 375 degrees). Brown up that italian sausage with the onions and garlic. Spice it up nice. During this, boil the pasta until done.
2. Pour in tomato sauce to italian sausage. Drain pasta and add into the saucepan. Mix together briefly.
3. Pour in 9×9 pan and put a the yummy cheese on top. Bake for 15-30 minutes.

Melt a stick of butter in a shallow dish, like a pie plate. Add in some garlic or other spices if you’d like. Take bread (preferably homemade, thick cut – WHOO!). Put it down in the butter and let it soak it up, oh yeah. Place on broiler rack.
Now…. if your times have aligned correctly…
Turn your oven on to broil. Do you know how broil works? It’s FABULOUS! It’s what will make our garlic bread nice and toasted and what makes that bubbly, browned cheese. It’s constant heat and you’ll need to keep your oven open a couple inches to use it. And WATCH. Don’t walk away. It can burn food quickly. BUT… the benefits far outweigh the risks:)
Pop in your bread and your pasta and let broil for a few minutes. Watch often. Your pasta will probably come out before your bread does. Let them both get a little brown.
This meal is super QUICK, EASY and can usually be made with normal pantry ingredients. Keep it in your arsenol for a quick time-crunched meal!
