She is intentional about caring for people and will show that care in so many different ways, whether it be a simple text, an encouraging word or a hug. She is the MASTER of thank you notes and written cards in general. She is open with others and shares her life with them. She seeks to know what is really happening in your life and in your heart.
This kindness in her is evidence of the gospel of Jesus Christ taking deep, solid root in her heart. Let’s take a minute and remember Steph circa 2004. In case you weren’t aware, Steph had a little secret sassiness to her:) Years ago, this was something she realized was an issue. She began working on this part of her life. She didn’t want to get frustrated or annoyed so often. She repented and prayed and sought to believe in gospel in her attitudes about Jesus, herself and others.
And when you talk to her now – it’s almost laughable to hear this. Jesus has done so much heart work on her and her lovingkindness is one of the first things you notice when you talk to Steph. She is a friend that is easy to repent to, because she forgives quickly and loves much.
Steph thanks for how much of your deep and pure kindness you have shown to me. Thank you for loving me when I didn’t deserve it, for seeking to right wrongs that never existed, but were just perceived by me. Thank you for walking through life with me and showing me the value of kindness and practical love. I am a kinder woman, wife and friend because of you.
