Prioritizing. Isn’t that one of the most loaded words in the English language? How often in your life do you hear “You have to prioritize, you need better priorities,” and so forth. Well I’m not here to lecture. Because work and school and housework and things are important. But do we prioritize our creative outlets? I know it may not make us money or might make a mess out of your clean kitchen or get paint all on your clothes. But creativity is good for our soul. Why do we neglect it if it’s good for our soul?
Now honestly, I don’t know if everyone thrives on creativity. Really, I’m guessing not. But we all need to create, to problem solve something. This could be reading a challenging book or figuring out the solution to an issue that’s been plaguing you– it doesn’t have to be physically creating with your hands.
And with anything – like exercise or reading our bibles daily- if we don’t remember the importance of it, we won’t prioritize it and then we won’t do it.
Are you prioritizing creativity in your life?
