Diagnosed with PCOS as a teen, put on birth control pills in 2001
Dec 2008 – Got off birth control pills, started taking my temperature and charting through fertilityfriend.com
Feb 2009 – Saw my regular ob/gyn who encouraged me to keep charting and call him in a few months if I didn’t have my cycle
Throughout 2009, charting showed no ovulation, called my doctor to take Provera and start my cycle every 3 months to try to “reset” my cycle… never worked.
Nov 2009 – Saw my ob/gyn who started me on 50mg of Clomid, days 3-7
Dec 2009 – Clomid did nothing but give me hot flashes, went and saw my doctor who referred us to a fertility specialist
